Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Shell DIY recipe list

During the summertime in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Summer Shells will wash up on beaches, allowing players to craft special DIY recipes.

Summer Shells look like Conch and Sea Snails, but they’re a darker blue color. The shells will appear from June until August for Northern Hemisphere players, and from December to February for Southern Hemisphere players.

The DIY recipes that use the Summer Shells will drop from balloons, but only during the summer. If you don’t manage to snag the recipes before summer ends, you’ll have to time travel to get them or ask another player to help you out.

Note that there are plenty of non-seasonal recipes that use shells, and those are available year round. Anything that uses Summer Shells specifically is locked to summer.
