Book 4 premieres on HBO Max on April 15

The fourth season of Infinity Train will be rolling into the station on April 15. The first trailer already brings a new dynamic to the scene: This time, two people who know each other board the train with a preexisting relationship. Though they say they’re best friends, there seems to be some underlying tension between them.

Each subsequent season of Infinity Train has featured a different set of characters exploring the never-ending train and its pocket dimension cars. The first centered on aspiring programmer Tulip, who was dealing with her parents’ divorce, while the next followed her mirror self and plucky newcomer Jesse. The most recent season centered on two individuals who had been on the train for years and led an anarchist group of teens that wreaked havoc on the train’s residents.

The animated series aired on Cartoon Network for its first two seasons, before moving to HBO Max for its third book in August 2020. After the third season premiered, there were rumors that the show would not be continuing, since creator Owen Dennis tweeted about the production team moving onto new projects. WarnerMedia announced the fourth season in February.
