While you explore Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Ledecestrescire, you’ll find a Treasure Hoard Map, which contains a clue that leads to loot. In Polygon’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ledecestrescire Hoard Map guide, we’ll show you how to find the map and the location of the treasure it leads to.

You’ll pick up the Ledecestrescire Hoard Map in the ruins of Venonis, in the southwest of Ledecestrescire.

There’s no written clue this time. Instead, you’ll get a map.
The shape of the “island” on the left matches with the shape described by the rivers around Venonis. The fort-tower-icon-drawing represents Tamworth Fortress. And that puts the X directly north of where you find the map.

Zoom in on your map and look for a nondescript hill just a little north of the Venonis Highpoint. As you approach, you’ll know you’re in the right place from the Y-shaped pole (flag?) on top.

Approach the rocky outcropping from the west. (A word of warning: There’s a promising hole and tunnel you can climb into on the east side, but it is a fake hole, and you’ll end up stuck in the geometry forever.)
Look for the path up to the shallow cave in the rock, and collect your treasure: the Snakebite Scheme (Shields) to decorate your longship.
