Lunden Wealth, Mysteries, and Artifacts locations map
There are 8 Wealth locations, 5 Mysteries, and 3 Artifacts in Lunden.
Lunden Wealth locations map
There are 8 Wealth locations in Lunden, including Nickel Ingots and Gear. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.
1 - Nickel Ingot
Inside the Crepelgate Fort (“covered passage”) courtyard, use your raven to spot the guard with a key. Kill him, loot the key, and then use it to open the chest in the snake pit. But, as the name “snake pit” suggests, you need to take some time to pick off all four snakes.
North Lunden Swamp
2 - Nickel Ingot
At the ruins in north Lunden, kill the enemy labeled Goliath. Loot the body to pick up the Swamp Chest Key. From there, move to the water to the east of the ruins and dive down into a tunnel. Smash the breakable wall, and follow the tunnel to the chest. Loot it to collect the Nickel Ingot.
3 - Hidden Ones’ Mask
You’ll find the Londinium Bureau in northeast Lunden. There, look for a ring of large wooden poles in the ruins. Climb it, and dive down into the water below. In the northwest corner of the room, look for a breakable section of wall. Break it, and continue through to reach a cavern. Head straight and turn right to climb up onto a hanging platform. Look through the window, and shoot the red pots to open passage. In that room, you can loot the Hidden Ones’ Mask (Way of the Raven).
4 - Nickel Ingot
From the Hidden Ones’ Mask location, head back to the tunnel you entered through and head back to the hanging platform. Here, you’ll find deep water. Dive down and you will immediately see a chest containing Nickel Ingot.
West of Londinium Ampitheatre
5 - Iron-Cloud (bow)
Both sides of the house containing the Iron-Cloud Bow are blocked — one with a key, the other barred. You’ll find the key on a barrel just to the south. Inside, head to the room to the north. Move the rolling shelf out of the way, and crawl into the room it reveals to find another key — the Quarterhouse Chest Key. Bring it back to the main room and use it on the chest to score the Iron-Cloud, a Way of the Raven light bow.
Temple of Sulis Minerva
6 - Nickel Ingot
On the second floor of the Temple of Sulis Minerva, look for a room with a heavy platform suspended over a hole in the floor. Shoot the pulley to gain access to the room below where a chest containing a Nickel Ingot awaits. Be ready to fight: there’s a big angry cat waiting to pounce.
Temple of Mythras
7 - Briton Shield
Inside the Temple of Mythras restricted area, head down the hole and slip through the crack into a tunnel. Follow it to a larger chamber with a blocked door. Look for a couple rockcases along the south wall, and move the one on the left to reveal a hole to crawl through. Keep following the tunnel until you reach and loot the chest containing the Briton Shield (a Way of the Wolf light shield
8 - Blacksmith’s Hammer
From the west side of Bodilsburg Garrison, climb the wall until you reach the place where the roof is splintered. Hop to the ledge and go straight ahead into the room. Shoot the portion of the ceiling that’s covered with breakable wood and climb up to loot the chest containing the Blacksmith’s Hammer (Way of the Bear).
Lunden Mysteries locations map
There are 18 Mystery locations in Lunden, including World Events and a Flyting. We’ve broken then up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.
1 - World Event: Falling Stars
In the square to the west of the Londinium Ampitheatre, find a group of people crying around a small shrine on a red rug. Read the notes nearby to get hints on how to reunite the band. (Or just look at the map below.)
- Find Kitt to the east of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Pay her 50 silver and she’ll run off to rejoin her bandmates.
- Cynewolf is in a cage on the west side of Crepelgate Fort. Break in and untie him.
- Ysane is to the west of the city walls near Saint Paul’s Cathedral. Recite a rhyme about breakfast or war, and she’ll rejoin her band.
Head back to the square where you started. Interact with the empty spot in the crowd (of children) to listen to them play and finish the “Falling Stars” World Event.
2 - World Event: War of the Collectors
In order to complete the “War of the Collectors” World Event, you must build the museum in your settlement. This will allow you to accept the “A Rivalry for the Ages” quest from Octavian, which will take you to the marked location in Lunden. Speak with Maximilian, and pay him the 130 silver or pass a level five charisma check to get the Legionnaire statue, which will complete the “War of the Collectors” World Event.
Temple of Sulis Minerva
3 - World Event: The Demon Odor of the Tithe
Head to the red brick building in the southwestern corner of Lunden where you’ll hear a man inside yelling about being stuck. Crawl through the window on the west wall. Drop down and talk to him to learn he’s trapped himself in the warehouse. Your job is to move the jars (of garum) without breaking them to make the man a path out.
- Climb back over the wall and start on the far left (north) side.
- Carry the jars to the hay at the back of the warehouse.
- Pull the rockshelf back and to the right. This opens another area with four more jars.
- Carry them back to the hay as well. Approach the rockshelf from the side, and slide it to the wall on the left.
- Around the corner, there are a lot more jars to move — and you have to, since you also have to smash some boxes. Get them all out of the way. (We had to move them all before the rockshelves would slide far enough.)
- Destroy the two crates in your way. If you have arrows, they’re a much safer way to smash the two crates.
- Slide the large rockshelf to the right, and then pull the smaller shelf straight back. Talk to the man again to complete “The Demon Odor at the Tithe” World Event.
Temple of Mithras
4 - World Event: Last Flight of the Gyldan Sparrow
Approach a group of people talking on the dock to begin the “Last Flight of the Gyldan Sparrow” World Event. Dive into the water at the end of the dock to find a sunken ship. Grab the loot, and return to the people on the dock. They’ll tell you to catch a fish with a necklace in its belly. Catch any fish near the docks to get the Treasure of the Gyldan Sparrow, and return it to the people on the dock to finish the “Last Flight of the Gyldan Sparrow” World Event.
5 - Flyting: Augusta the Cheerful
Augusta the Cheerful is a flyter in the southeast of Lunden. She’ll challenge you to a subversive take on flyting, where you must compliment each other instead of hurling insults.
To defeat her, answer:
- You’re the picture of elegance, beauty and grace.
- O, your valor’s the subject of story and song.
- It is truly a pleasure, my partner’s sublime.
Lunden Artifacts locations map
There are 3 Artifacts in Lunden, and all three of them are Flying Papers. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.
North Lunden Ruins
1 - Flying Paper: Midgard Scheme (Back)
From the branch protruding from the huge ruined wall, follow the flying paper until it stops on a statue’s head. Grab it quickly to get the Midgard Scheme (Back) tattoo design.
2 - Flying Paper: Vestri Wind Scheme (Head)
Begin at the top of the ampitheatre, where you will see the fluttering leaves that denote an artifact location. Follow it from here around the walls of the amphitheatre until you reach the hanging platform. You’ll need to be quick to claim the Vestri Wind Scheme (Head) Tattoo Design.
3 - Flying Paper: Norse Emblem Scheme (Arms)
This flying paper chase begins on Lundenwic Abbey and concludes on top of a building near the water in the south of Lunden. It’s difficult to follow the paper directly, but if you fall off, hurry to the chimney where it ends up and you can still grab the Norse Emblem Scheme (Arms) tattoo design before it resets.
