There are 23 Wealth locations in Essexe, including Nickel Ingots, Cargo, Abilities, and Gear. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.

By this point in the game, you can purchase ingots from most shops, so we’ll show their locations on the map, but won’t walk you through collecting them. Once you build the Cartographer’s shop in Ravensthorpe, you can buy maps to all ingots as well. And since Cargo is always in Raid locations, we’ll let you collect those on your own as well.

Halstead Outpost

Grab the key, and then enter the sanctuary to open the locked door. Once inside, move the shelf beneath the ladder and use it to climb up to the next level. Use Odin’s Sight to highlight the red section on the ladder and shoot it down. Climb to the top floor to find the Harpoon Impalement Book of Knowledge.

In Colcestre, grab an explosive pot from underneath a tarp in the area north of the secret entrance. Walk the pot south, up the leaning tree, and throw it down at the breakable barrier to access the underground area. Once inside, progress until you come to a wide open area with Assassin’s banners on the wall. At the far end of the room, climb through the left window, drop down, and dive into the water. Turn right to find the Camulodunum Sewer Key, and then swim back to the area where you dropped down. Use the key on the door. Enter the room, look through the metal grate window, and shoot the door opposite to unbar it. Return to the hall. Climb through the window on the right side of the hall, drop down, and enter the newly unlocked room. Loot the Hidden Ones’ Hood gear from the chest.

For this Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenge, the statues with beards should remain red while the statues without beards should turn blue. To open the gate, the pattern from left to right should be: blue, red, red, blue, blue, red. Change the proper braziers and exit through the activated gate to complete the Essexe Fly Agaric Mystery.

North of Agnitum Tower

2 - World Event: The Riddler

Immediately to the north of Mystery 3, find a man, The Riddler, standing beneath a tarp in the shadow of a large tree. Answer his three riddles — the answers, in order, are: a lock and key, bagpipes, and a storm — to complete “The Riddler” World Event (and hear Eivor make a Portal reference).

3 - Offering Altar: Walhdenu Altar

This World Event is right at the foot of Agnitum Tower. After leap-of-faith-ing, find a group of musicians angry with a man called The Bishop of the Ruins. Speak with a man named Keith, then confront the Bishop of the Ruins. Beat him up, then assassinate (not clear if you’re actually assassinating him or just doing a knock-out blow?) to complete “The Prodigy” World Event.

6 - World Event: Devil’s Hole
Essexe Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

Speak with the men standing outside the cave to the southeast of Agnitum Tower. Head inside the cave and speak to the man within, the Beastmaster. Fight him or help him to complete the Devil’s Hole World Event. If you help him, you will need to head back outside and assassinate the leader of the group, then return to and speak to the Beastmaster.

Colcestre

7 - Flyting: Lady Ellette of Colchester

Beneath the massive statue of a warrior in the northeast of Colcestre, talk to the Flyting Herald to begin a fly with Lady Ellette. To complete the Lady Ellette of Colchester Flyting, choose:

  • For they put all who hear them to sleep.
  • I’ll defeat you and banish all doubt.
  • Lend a salve, for your words make me ill.
8 - Treasures of Britain: Old Cellar
Essexe Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

Begin this trek where the marker location leads: at a cave mouth with stalactites and stalagmites for fangs. The path is linear, but long, and will lead you to a cellar with massive casques of wine. Use Odin’s Sight to highlight the glowing red spots and shoot them to empty the wine into the drain. You will need to move some nets out of the way, by highlighting and shooting their pulleys, in order to reach a few of the casques. This will cause the drain in the center of the room to rise, gifting you the Mysterious Horn Tablet and completing the Old Cellar Treasures of Britain challenge.

Near Turrim Larus Ruins

9 - World Event: Take Me a Husband
Essexe Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

10 - World Event: The Boar with the Golden Nose

At the marker, find a man, the Boarmaster, sitting near a large boar, Lady, with red paint in her fur. Follow the boar. She will lead you to smelly socks, and the Boarmaster will walk off. From there, follow Lady to three locations where valuables are buried. At the last, you will be ambushed. Defeat the enemies and find an item among the purple flowers to complete “The Boar with the Golden Nose” World Event.

Wulfaswic

12 - World Event: The Banshee

At the ruins to the west of Maeldun, you’ll find a man weeping over his wife. Speak to the Grieving Man, and then shoot the breakable boards on the wall above him. He will attack you. Defeat him, and loot his body to complete “The Banshee” World Event.

By the time you’ve reached Essexe, you’ll have completed enough Artifacts that we’ve no longer going to walk you through them all. The map above will guide you to the area, and your Odin’s Sight ability will help you pin down the exact location.
