There are 3 Wealth locations in Hamtunscire that are Abilities and Gear. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.

By this point in the game, you can purchase ingots from most shops, so we’re going to stop walking you through collecting them. Once you build the Cartographer’s shop in Ravensthorpe, you can buy maps to all ingots as well. And since Cargo is always in Raid locations, we’ll let you collect those on your own as well.

Chepeham

1 - Gear: Soldier’s Flail

In the town of Chepeham in western Hamtunscire, enter the longhouse and climb up into the rafters. Follow the yellow glow to the southwest corner of the building and drop down to find a chest containing the Soldier’s Flail.

Calleva Outpost

2 - Gear: Drekar Shield

In the courtyard area of Calleva Outpost, grab an explosive pot and carry it down to the area with two moveable shelves. Move them out of the way, and blow up the pot. Enter and move another shelf out of the way to enter the room where the Drekar Shield is hidden.

Isle of Wiht

3 - Gear: Death Skald

On the northeast shore of the Isle of Wiht (Hamtunscire’s southern island), swim out into the sea and through an arch in the wall to enter a submerged structure. Swim through the hole in the wall by the statue’s head to find the Death Skald.

There are 14 Mystery locations in Hamtunscire, including things like World Events, Cairns, Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenges, and a Legendary Animal. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.

Stonehenge

1 - Standing Stones: Stonehenge
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

This is the big one: the one and only Stonehenge. Activate Odin’s Sight and position Eivor within the henge on the southeast side facing northwest. Manipulate the camera until the symbol lines up to complete the Stonehenge Standing Stones challenge.

Readingum Abbey

2 - World Event: The Devil Has All the Best Tunes
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

In northeast Hamtunscire, approach the Bard surrounded by warriors in blue. Speak to the man near the ale to start a drinking competition. When things go sideways, kill the Bard to complete “The Devil Has All the Best Tunes” World Event.

Egbert’s Stone

3 - Fly Agaric: Hamtunscire

Find a Fly Agaric patch near a small stream and a structure made from stone slabs. Take it, and four mythical enemies will appear. Defeat them to complete the Hamtunscire Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenge.

Wocig

4 - Treasures of Britain: Wocig

This Treasure of Britain challenge is straightforward until you reach the end of the boat ride.

At that point, don’t climb through the stalagmites into the room with the large pool. Instead, climb up the wall to your right, and follow the white-lined ledges throughout their twists and turns.

When you come to a room with pots, detonate them and slide through the hole in the wall they reveal on the right. You’ll find the Wocig Treasure of Britain on a pedestal in the next room.

Heald Tor

5 - World Event: The Arrow in the Tree
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

Near the Heald Tor Cairn, find a man, Kenrick, who will ask you to climb the nearby cliff and pull an arrow from the tree. Climb the cliff, kill the lynx that awaits you, and climb out on the tree. Remove the arrow and take it back to Kenrick. Speak with him to complete “The Arrow in the Tree” World Event.

6 - Cairn: Heald Tor

This Cairn near the top of Heald Tor is a pain. It needs to be very tall and it’s on a slanted base. It is not fun and it took us an embarrassingly long time to pull it off. The picture of our successful Heald Tor Cairn is above. (It was even relatively stable, surprisingly.)

7 - Flyting: Fenn the Wistful
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

Find Fenn the Wistful just north of Wincestre standing next to a thatched roof hut. To complete the Fenn the Wistful Flyting, choose:

  • Nay, one thousand’s a pittance, it’s closer to ten.
  • It is not mine to judge, only fill up the graves.
  • To ensure that I’ll sit in Valhalla one day.

Aveberie Megaliths

8 - Standing Stones: Aveberie Megaliths

To the northwest of Wincestre, look for this henge and use Odin’s Sight to reveal the etchings. Climb to the top of the tall, thin stone to the west of the sand circle that surrounds the henge. Manipulate the camera until it forms the symbol to complete the Aveberie Megaliths Standing Stones.

9 - World Event: Saint Faith
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

On an island to the west of Wincestre, you’ll meet a priest who will threaten to baptize you. Defeat the bodybuilder nun to complete the “Saint Faith” World Event.

Red Lichen Cavern

10 - World Event: We Are All Monsters
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

Near Red Lichen Cavern in east Hamtunscire, find an overturned wagon near the road. Look behind it to spot a cliff with a man at the top and a bear pacing back and forth at the bottom. Kill the bear and speak to the man. Handle him however you see fit to conclude the “We Are All Monsters” World Event.

11 - Treasures of Britain: Red Lichen Cavern

Enter the cavern at the map marker and follow its linear path until you arrive in a chamber with two tiers of green smoke. Throw a torch at both levels to make the smoke disappear. While the smoke is gone, climb up to the second level and grab the Red Lichen Cavern Treasure of Britain.

Fearnhamme

12 - World Event: Splitting Hares
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

At the eastern border of Hamtunscure, find a woman whose crops are being terrorized by rabbits. Enter the adjacent field where blue flowers are planted and kill every rabbit. Use Odin’s Sight to spot the ones hiding in the flowers. Exterminate them all to complete the “Splitting Hares” World Event.

The Dark Weald

13 - Legendary Animals: Wildcats of the Weald
Hamtunscire Mysteries locations map Image: Ubisoft Montreal/Ubisoft via Polygon

In this Legendary Animal fight, you’ll need to take on both a Young Lynx and Elder Lynx at once. As always, aim for the weak spots first. For both cats, they’re on the flanks. You likely want to take the Young Lynx out first because as long as it’s in the fight, it will jump on your back and cause persistent damage until you shake it off. Don’t ever have your back to it. Whittle both Lynxes down to zero to complete the Wildcats of the Weald Legendary Animal Mystery.

Isle of Wiht

14 - Animus Anomaly: Needles

The first section of this Animus Anomaly is not a puzzle, but more like an obstacle course. Use the moving platforms, natural stones, and ramps to make your way all the way to the ruined tower to the west.

As you’re going, you’ll need to watch for waves of red hazard … water(?). You’ll be able to see how high the wave will crest before it reaches you as the blue blocks flicker red. Time your moves carefully to avoid them, and always watch for high ground to avoid them.

When you climb up to the top of the tower and onto the blue blocks beyond that, you’ll find a splitter. Turn the splitter clockwise until both blocks on your right are solid. Use those blocks to climb up to another projector above you.

Turn that projector just a smidge to the left to solidify the block. Hop back down to the splitter, and turn it counterclockwise to solidify the two blocks ahead of you — farthest away from the projector.

Use those to climb up, and follow the path until you reach the next projector. Move this one away from the block it’s pointed at. That one will disappear, and another moving gray block will show up. Wait for it to climb as high as it will go, and lock it in with the projector.

Cross over to the block you just solidified. You’ll have another obstacle course to pass through. At the end, you’ll reach another hazard section.

Wait for the hazard cylinder to reach the bottom, and then chase it up the next couple blocks. Use the blocks around the outside of the cylinder to avoid the hazard. You may need to hang off of the back side of some blocks to stay out of the way.

As you keep working higher, wait for the hazard cylinder to pass you headed down to give yourself more time to maneuver. At the top of this climbing course, you’ll complete the Animus Anomaly: Needles.
