There are 33 Wealth locations and 7 Mysteries in Jotunheim.
Jotunheim Wealth locations map
There are 33 Wealth locations in Jotunheim. Similar to Asgard, they are all Ymir’s Blood Stones. Use the map above to track them all down.
Jotunheim Mysteries locations map
There are 7 Mystery locations in Jotunheim, including things like World Events, Cairns, Fly Agaric Hallucination Challenges, and a Legendary Animal. We’ve broken them up into regions based (roughly) on the closest settlement or named region.
1 - Cairn: Atgeirr
This Cairn is located on an obelisk north of Enchanted Tower. Build it in the formation above to complete the Atgeirr Cairn.
2 - Legendary Animal: Steinnbjorn
Steinnbjorn, a creature that looks like a massive polar bear formed from rock, awaits on a frozen lake north of Serpent’s Tree. Avoid this fight until you’re endgame level unless you’re looking for a really tough fight. If you’re ready to tackle this fight, use Odin’s Sight to reveal his weak spots and keep a wide berth when he rears up on his hind legs. Beat the pebbly beast to complete the Steinnbjorn Legendary Animal fight.
Pit of Slaughter
4 - World Event: Pit of Slaughter
In the west of Jotunheim, at the marked location in Utgard, enter the building with stone gates and walk toward the back of the building until you see an arena. Speak to a large Jotnar named Dugr the Bold. Agree to fight with him, and defeat the enemy animals to complete the “Pit of Slaughter” World Event.
5 - Flyting: Ratatosk
Find your flyting opponent on a rock shelf to the east of Thrym’s House. To complete the Ratatosk the Squirrel Flyting Challenge, choose:
- I should like to see you try.
- They’re too dull to conquer me.
- I grow weary of your squeak.
6 - World Event: The Puppeteer
A little north (northwest) of Aegir’s Hall, you’ll find an odd little hunter’s cabin with a jotun outside. Speak to her, and she’ll tell you about the hunter inside and ask you to retrieve the key to her lover’s cage from him.
The door into the cabin is in the wall near you, but it’s blocked. Head to the back side of the wall, and unblock the door. Passing through the door will bring you back out front. Wait for the door to close again, and head back through — physics don’t rule in Jotunheim.
Inside, look for notes and clues about what’s really happening. Find the hunter and deal with him as you see fit. Take the key back to the jotun out front to complete “The Puppeteer” World Event.
7 - Offering Altar: Ymir’s Altar
Near Aegir’s Hall, in the village near the tunnel where you enter Jotunheim, find Ymir’s Altar. You will need to track down all 33 Ymir’s Blood Stones hidden throughout Jotunheim to complete the Ymir’s Altar Offering Altar.
8 - World Event: Aegir’s Daughters
Near where you first entered Jotunheim, you’ll find Aegir’s Hall. Head inside, and speak to the female jotun(s) there. Navigate the conversation by asking questions and then drinking. After the third question, you’ll take a third drink and then pass out.
When you wake, your job will be to reconstruct your night of celebration.
- Head out the western door of the hall, and down to the road. Spot and defeat King Snortington.
- Head west from the Hall and look for a gigantic vat built into the wall along the left. Take the stairs to the top and investigate the boat there.
- Directly to the north across the road from the huge vat, look for some more debris from your debauchery on the roof. Climb up and investigate the wagon to complete the “Aegir’s Daughters” World Event.
