Astral Chain guide: File 03 Link cases, cats, and collectibles map

In this Astral Chain collectibles guide, you’ll find a map of File 03: Link that marks the locations of the red and blue cases, the level’s Feline Friend, and the toilet.

Every level of Astral Chain has multiple side missions, a stray cat, and a bathroom to find. Most of them are pretty easy to spot, but not every one is accessible on your first time through the game. We’ll include extra explanation for anything that’s difficult to get to or requires special abilities or Legions.

File 03: Link collectibles map

There are 15 blue cases in File 03 — six of them are in HQ before you head out on the mission. There are 14 red cases — four of them are in the HQ’s training room, and the rest are in Maison Forest.

Your trip through Maison Forest heads from the south, to the north, then back. You’ll encounter different cases on your way north than on your way south. One red case (marked on the map above) requires the Arm Legion to access.

File 03: Bathroom location

You’ll find this level’s bathroom in the northeast of the map. You’ll need to complete (at least) the Maison Forest Search mission to be able to get up here. Look for a partially open door opposite the infirmary where the three redshift patients are. Duck under it to find this bathroom and pick up the dead leaves.

File 03: Cat location

About halfway through this level, after you travel to the Astral Plane in the far north, you’ll return to the rooftop. After you’ve cleaned up the chimeras there in Civilian Rescue, look for the staircase in the far northeast. Run down the stairs there to find a man who’s about to redshift and his cat. Handle the man, then rescue the cat.
