One of the best weapons in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the Rhava Velar. It’s a nod to a Castlevania series weapon called the Crissaegrim. It’s a hard item to craft, as it requires materials from some late-game areas.
This guide will tell you how to make the Rhava Velar, and where to find the materials you’ll need.

Before you can craft the Rhava Velar, you’ll need to find the Legendary Equipment/R recipe book. It is located in Hall of Termination. You’ll need Invert to get to the top of the room, and then you’ll find a chest off to the left.

Crafting the Rhava Velar with Johannes in Arvantville requires four items:
- Crimsonite, which is a drop from the ninjas you’ll find in Oriental Sorcery Lab.
- Imbrued Fang, which is a drop from Millionaire’s Bane. You’ll need the Millionaire’s Key from Den of Behemoths to reach the Millionaire’s Room in Hall of Termination to reach this enemy.
- Rhava Bural, a drop from the Killer Barbers in Dian Cecht Cathedral. You’ll need four of them.
- Sharp Razor, also a drop from the Killer Barbers in Dian Cecht Cathedral. You’ll need four of these as well.
Increasing drop rates
There’s only a small chance that any given enemy will drop what you want, so if you’re farming for specific items, increase your Luck stat. Put on any gear that gives you a luck boost, and your enemies will be more likely to drop items.
