Dian Cecht Cathedral is Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s first area to explore past Entrance. You’ll get two different abilities that unblock paths deeper into the castle in this area.
Below, we’ve included several maps of Dian Cecht Cathedral, broken down by the ability you’ll need to access each new area. The maps are in chronological order based on when you get each new ability. The more you scroll, the farther into the game you go.
Dian Cecht Cathedral on the first visit
You’ll enter Dian Cecht Cathedral in the bottom left of the map, near the save room. Your goal is to work all the way to the right. Along the way, pick up the Skill Shard. A little farther in, there’s a room with a Dance Mask and a Max Ammo Up. To the left, you’ll meet the barber Todd who will let you change your appearance. Continuing right, the next chest you find will unlock new haircuts for Todd to give you.
At the far right, you’ll face Craftwork. Once defeated, it’ll give you the Craftwork Shard ability. The room to the right has a Max HP Up and a chest with a Unicorn Ring.
Dian Cecht Cathedral with Reflector Ray
After you defeat Bathin in Underground Sorcery Lab to get the Reflector Ray ability, a lot more of Dian Cecht Cathedral opens up to you. To the bottom left, there’s a Macuahuitl club and Max Ammo Up. Above that, there’s a Max HP and Max Ammo Up. There’s another Max HP Up hidden in the bell in the tallest tower — about the center top of the map above. Back in the room where you fought Craftwork, you can get to a higher attached room where you’ll find some Crusader Armor and a Silver Knight Familiar Shard.
Far to the right, you’ll meet and battle Bloodless to get the Blood Steal ability. After her room, there’s a chest containing a Red Umbrella.
Dian Cecht Cathedral with Invert
The rest of Dian Cecht Cathedral will open once you get the Invert ability from Orobas in Inferno Cave. There are two new Max HP Ups — both hidden inside bells — and you’ll be able to collect the Carpenter’s Key.
