Scorched Gorge is the dry canyon area in Bugsnax, filled with a variety of different treats.

The area introduces Bugsnax that are on fire, and you’ll need to use nearby water to put them out before you catch them. There’s also the hyper-aggressive Spuddy, who will open up new areas in the map with new Bugsnax to collect.

Cromdo, one Grumpus on this map, will give you the Lunchpad, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities for Bugsnax catching, mainly for catching flying Bugsnax.

BBQ Bunger (all day): Let the BBQ Bunger chase you from off the platform, down to where some Spuddy are. Chasing you, they’ll hit each other, allowing you to catch the BBQ Bunger with the net.

Sweet Fryder (all day): Aim the Lunchpad at the Sweet Fryder and launch the Snak Trap at it. Once trapped, you may need to use the Snak Grappler to grab the closed trap.

Ribblepede (all day): Place the Snak Trap near the Ribblepede and hit the device with Hot Sauce to lure the Ribblepede to it.

Poptick (all day): Cover the Popticks with Hot Sauce to get the nearby Scorpenyo to hit them with fire, causing them to pop. Once they do, pick them up with the net. Note that this is harder to do on the set of Popticks and Scorpenyo by the water. We recommend catching the Popticks by the entrance to the Scorched Gorge.

Spuddy (all day): Bait two Spuddys into each other. They’ll knock each other out, allowing you to catch them with the net.

Scorpenyo (all day): Hit the ground in front of the water by the Scorpenyo with Cheese Sauce. The Scorpenyo will go towards it, crossing the water and stunning itself in the process. Pick up the stunned Scorpenyo with the net. Note that this is much easier to do with the Scorpenyo under the bridge, not the Scorpenyo by the entrance to the Scorched Gorge.

Shy Weenyworm (all day): Place the Snak Trap along the Shy Weenyworm’s path.

Cheepoof (6 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Place the Lunchpad and aim it at the Cheepoof. Place the Snak Trap on top and fire it at the Cheepoof.

White Cheepoof (6 p.m. - 4 a.m.): Place the Lunchpad and aim it at the White Cheepoof. Place the Snak Trap on top and fire it at the White Cheepoof.

Crystal Sweetiefly (4 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Place the Lunchpad and aim it at the Crystal Sweetiefly. Place the Snak Trap on top of the Lunchpad and fire it at the Crystal Sweetiefly when it is resting.

Green Peelbug (all day): Send the Buggy Ball into the round openings and follow the indicator to figure out where the exit is. Place the Snak Trap at the exit. You may need to crouch to successfully send the Buggy Ball through the hole.

Puffy Snakpod (all day): Use the net to grab it, since it won’t run away. If it’s out of reach, use the Snak Grappler.
