Sugarpine Woods is the cold forest biome in Bugsnax, filled with a wide variety of creatures. It’s also where you get several tools that will help you catch lots of Bugsnax.
You can find bth Chandlo and Snorpy in this Sugarpine Woods. Snorpy will give you the Snak Grappler and the Trip Shot, allowing you to grab far-off Bugsnax and stun fast-running Bugsnax.
You’ll have to use a combination of many of the tools you’ve gotten throughout the game to successfully nab some of these creatures.
Kwookie (all day): Use the Trip Shot to stun the Kwookie in its path. You can grab it with the net.
Charmallow (4 p.m. - 4 a.m.): Use the Trip Shot to knock the Charmallow out of the air and into water, allowing you to grab it with the net.
Cinnasnail (all day): Aim the Lunchpad at the Cinnasnail and place the Snak Trap on top. Fire it at the Cinnasnail. You may need to pick up the closed trap using the Snak Grappler.
Hunnabee (5 a.m. - 6 p.m.): Aim the Lunchpad at the Hunnabee and place the Snak Trap on top. Fire it at the Hunnabee. It will get knocked out of the air, to be picked up with the net. The other nearby Hunnabees may cover you in honey when you do this.
Sprinklepede (all day): Pull the Sprinklepede off the tower using the Snak Grappler. Set up the Trip Shot across the Sprinklepede’s path to stun it and use the net.
Yellow Peelbug (all day): Send the Buggy Ball into the round openings and follow the indicator to figure out where the exit is. Place the Snak Trap at the exit. You may need to crouch to successfully send the Buggy Ball through the hole.
Bopsicle (all day): Hit the Big Bopsicle with Chocolate Sauce or Peanut Butter to lure a Charmallow to it. After avoiding its charges for 15 seconds, it will split into two Bopsicles, which you can pick up with your net.
Big Bopsicle (all day): Get the Big Bopsicle to chase you into the nearby water. While it continues to charge at you, use the Trip Shot to stun it, allowing you to pick it up with the net.
Rainbow Sweetiefly (4 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Place the Lunchpad and aim it at the Rainbow Sweetiefly. Place the Snak Trap on top of the Lunchpad and fire it at the Rainbow Sweetiefly when it is resting. Once it’s trapped, use the Snak Grappler to grab the closed Snak Trap. This may take several tries, as the Snak Trap may fall down the cliff after you successfully trap it.
Nutty Snakpod (all day): Use the net to grab it, since it won’t run away. If it’s out of reach, use the Snak Grappler.
