Call of Duty: Warzone may be getting Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre-inspired skins

Modern Warfare is about to get a lot scarier

Spooky season is here again, which that means most games are getting a few Halloween-themed cosmetics. Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare are no exception. Mixed in with the dozens of creepy new Operator and weapon skins, CODTracker has also found two themed bundles for Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

It seems that the skin bundles were added to the game in its latest patch. Each bundle has an Operator skin as well as a couple of weapon skins, plus charms and stickers. Fittingly for these horror franchises, the Operator skins themselves are absolutely horrifying.

The Jigsaw skin is slightly less terrifying, but not by much.

While these may seem like random additions, they make a little bit of sense. The Jigsaw skin could have been planned as a tie-in to the upcoming Saw reboot/spin-off, Spiral, which was originally set to be released on May 15 but was delayed a full year. As for the inclusion of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, well, Leatherface is always scary, so why not?

There’s no official word about when these skin bundles will be coming to the game, but it’s pretty safe to assume that these skins should be on the in-game store for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare sometime before Halloween arrives at the end of October.
