Online teammates are unreliable in most games, and can leave at a moments notice. But one Call of Duty: Modern Warfare player got a particularly unlucky batch of randos, all of whom rage quit the match. Left alone, with nobody to aid them, this Reddit user carefully stuck it out and won by the most impressive means they could: a tactical nuke.
Getting a tactical nuke in Modern Warfare isn’t easy — outside of a private match with friends, that is. To earn the special kill streak, you need to get 30 kills in a row without dying. And your reward is an instant victory against the opposing team.
According to the Reddit video, Battle.net user SanLeon’s team abandoned them early on in a match. Left completely alone, the user played slowly, working up to the nuke over the course of the game. After successfully acquiring the killstreak, they typed “GG GUYS” in Match chat, and called in the ultimate weapon.
By the time the match was over, several players had back-filled on SanLeon’s team, and the match ended lopsided in their favor, despite starting as a 1v5.
Most players would’ve quit — hell, we would’ve quit under these circumstance — but staying behind to get the win with a stylish tactical nuke killstreak is the ultimate revenge against crappy teammates.
