After an unintentional early release last week, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone’s R1 Shadowhunter crossbow will officially be released on March 24, Treyarch announced Monday.

Treyarch is giving players two different ways to unlock the R1 Shadowhunter once the weapon is in the game. The first method involves completing a challenge by using a weapon with no attachments to get three “One Shot, One Kill” medals in 15 different matches. If players want to unlock the R1 via that challenge, they’ll first need to unlock the challenge itself, but Treyarch hasn’t revealed how that works just yet. The other, much faster method is to simply purchase the “Archaic Range” Bundle from the in-game store.

The Archaic Range Bundle includes the “Lancehead” weapon blueprint, which outfits the Shadowhunter with a few special attachments, the “Medieval Archer” animated emblem, the “Olde Time Sniper” sticker, and the “Stolen Idol” charm.

The R1 is one of the new weapons for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone season 2. Treyarch accidentally released the crossbow early last week and pulled the weapon a few hours later. Fortunately, anyone who bought the weapon from the in-game store had their money refunded but, according to Treyarch, players that made progress on the unlock challenge had their progress reset.
