Call of Duty: Warzone has had a rocky history with vehicles, and that trend continues with the game’s latest patch. On Thursday, developer Raven Software announced that it’s removing minigun helicopters from the game because they’re causing players to turn invisible.
The change cropped up shortly after the game’s season 2 Reloaded patch went live on Wednesday. A note on the bug was quickly added to Raven’s public Trello board, where the developer keeps track of things it’s working on in Warzone. On Thursday, the developer tweeted that it’s simply going to remove the minigun choppers from the game.
️ We're removing the mini gun variant of the helicopter from #Warzone due to a new issue allowing players to become invisible. https://t.co/6VtbpyPCOJ

Raven doesn’t specify whether or not the minigun helicopters will make it back to the game. But based on that fact that the issue is on its Trello board — which is usually reserved for problems that Raven plans on solving — we can hope that it will return one day.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Call of Duty: Warzone has had problems with vehicles turning players invisible. In fact, last year there was a remarkably similar problem happening with the game’s attack helicopters, which required them to be removed at that time, too. Earlier this year we found out that the invisibility problem isn’t limited to air vehicles either. The armored truck from the Armored Royale game mode let players disappear as well, leading to the entire mode being temporarily disabled.
