Call of Duty’s latest new weapon, the CARV.2, has arrived. The gun comes as part of the Thursday patch for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and players can now use the tactical rifle in either game.
The CARV.2 is a tactical rifle that fires in bursts. It’s got solid damage, good recoil control, and plenty of ammo, which should make it an excellent weapon for the mid-range fights that are frequent in Black Ops Cold War, as well as the long range fights that often dominate Warzone.
To unlock the CARV.2, players can either the complete the weapon’s in-game challenge or purchase it in a bundle. The challenge requires players to use a tactical rifle to rapidly get two or more kills in 10 different matches. The Plastik Prototype bundle costs 1200 CP ($12.99) and comes with the “Konsole” blueprint and comes with an emblem, a charm, a sticker, and a tier skip for the battle pass.
The new patch also includes a few other Black Ops Cold War fixes, but most of them are just related to general stability and update playlists with modes like Prop Hunt and Gun Game. For a full look at everything in the patch you can check out the official patch notes.
