Mass Effect: Discovery blows everything up

The story of Mass Effect: Andromeda expands with Mass Effect: Discovery, a prequel comic from Dark Horse.

Tiran Kandros, who players will know as the leader of the Nexus’ militia, will allude to the player that he had a complicated path to the Initiative and the galaxy of Andromeda. Discovery shows that path, beginning with Kandros accepting an assignment from the Turian military to investigate the mysterious Initiative. In this week’s Mass Effect: Discovery #2, it looks like he encounters something exceedingly rare in the games: a Salarian biotic.

That biotic is known as Agent Zeta, a mercenary, and he seems pretty peeved in this preview from the new issue, out on June 26:
