DC Comics’ Injustice comic book series is a pretty wild ride, and it’s about to get even wilder with a forthcoming He-Man crossover titled Injustice vs. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

The six-issue miniseries will see Batman of the alternate-reality Injustice universe teaming up with He-Man, Teela, Orko and Battlecat to take on Superman, who is a serious jerk in Injustice.

Here’s the official breakdown of the story, from DC:

Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When heroes from another dimension ask his aid in deposing a superhero turned dictator, he agrees. Teaming up with Batman against the Superman of the Injustice Universe, He-Man and his new allies face dangerous and familiar enemies in a battle where no world is safe!

Injustice vs. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe will be written by Tim Seeley (Nightwing, Green Lanterns) and illustrated by Freddie E. Williams II, whose other crossover work includes He-Man/Thundercats and Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. DC and Mattel’s miniseries will debut July 18.

In the meantime, do yourself a favor and catch up on the Injustice comic series’ story if you haven’t already.

Injustice — the comic book series — is currently ongoing. The next issue of the series, Injustice 2 #24, will be released later this week.
