If you’ve been running around Control’s Oldest House and come across several TVs showing off a furnace, then you’ll see that there are still some mysteries left to unpack.
At first glance, the TVs might just seem like weird props, but but there’s more than one, and they’re all near the furnace. Turns out, they’re connected.
Keep in mind that some of them are easily found in plain sight, while others require you to abilities you can only get in the middle to late-game. So, just to be clear, this guide must necessarily spoil some Abilities. You may want to return to this guide after about mission 6 (or even after you’ve beaten the game).

What to do with the TVs
In the course of finding the TVs, you may accidentally launch one off the screen or down into the depths. These TVs return to their positions once you leave and come back — unless you throw them into the furnace.
Grab each TV with your Launch Ability and walk them to the Furnace Chamber. Once there you can hurl them into the flames. After throwing all six TVs into the fire you’ll get a few crafting resources and a fight with some Hiss.
One user on Twitter also received a weapon mod that allows the Grip configuration of the Service Weapon to return bullets on hit. However, we have not been able to reproduce the same result.

When you’re in the NSC Power Plant, head toward the door label NSC Coolant Pumps. (It’s west of the titular Control Point on your map.)
Right before you enter the NSC Coolant Pumps door, turn around. Look for a large pipe on the platform that’s one level above you. Right next to the mouth of the pipe on the left is one of the TVs.

From the NSC Power Plant, head through the NSC Coolant Pumps door, which leads to the Furnace Chamber.
After descending your first set of stairs, you’ll find a door to your right. Enter it and to your left is another TV.
The third TV // Furnace Chamber

The closest warp to this fire TV is the NSC Coolant Pumps Entrance Control Point. From there, enter adjacent Furnace Chamber.
Immediately to your left. Along the far wall on a large shelf is another TV.
The fourth TV // Furnace Chamber
Spoiler alert: The remaining fire TVs require an ability that you won’t get until you’re deep into Control.

The closest warp to this fire TV is the NSC Coolant Pumps Entrance Control Point. From there, enter adjacent Furnace Chamber.
From the entrance of the Furnace Chamber, turn around and look up. You’ll find an opening that you can levitate up to. You’ll find another TV there behind a fence. To grab it, you’ll need to levitate and use Launch to lift it through the gap in the fence.
The fifth TV // NSC Power Plant

The fifth TV is located back in the NSC Power Plant. Levitate all the way to the top of the power plant to find a TV resting up there.
You’ll also get a Hidden Location Discovered notification and, as a result, an Ability Point.
The sixth TV // NSC Coolant Pumps

This one is harder to find since it’s not actually near the power plant or furnace. It’s actually in the NSC Coolant Pumps room. The closest warp to this fire TV is the NSC Coolant Pumps Entrance Control Point. From there, head through the hole in the wall and down into your destination.
On the ground floor of the NSC Coolant Pumps room, face the elevator. To its right, next to the bright spot light above, is a TV. Levitate up there and grab the TV.
The seventh TV?

There is in fact a seventh TV, however it doesn’t look the other TVs. It also behaves differently. You can find this TV on top of the control room where you meet Arish. The TV is shining bright white. However, whenever we take it too close to the door leading to the NSC Coolant Pumps, it magically disappears. It also disappears if you try to take it too high up the power plant tower.
However, whenever it does disappear, it always reappears in its original spot. Coincidence or another puzzle? We’re not sure.
