The Nintendo Switch, as we’ve said over and over again, probably isn’t going to get an official price drop any time soon. Retailers can sometimes get away with offering Switch deals by bundling them with games and accessories. Today though, a few of them are throwing in $25 gift cards with full-price Switch consoles.
$25 won’t cover the full cost of a first-party Switch game, but it’ll take a good chunk off the price. You can also put that gift card toward a Switch Pro Controller or pick up a GameCube controller if you’re planning on playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
This Switch offer is available at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Target. (Walmart isn’t running the gift card deal, but it is offering a nice discount on a Nintendo Labo/Switch bundle.) The $25 gift card will be valid at whichever retailer you buy from.
If you’re shopping for last-minute Christmas gifts, Amazon, Best Buy and Target are still offering free two-day shipping, which means orders placed before tomorrow, Dec. 20 should be safely under the tree by Christmas Eve.
