Microsoft’s weekly digital games sale discounts a new roster of Xbox One titles each week on the Xbox Marketplace. This week, Microsoft is discounting a few major franchises, including Battlefield and Assassin’s Creed, which have new games set to drop later in the year.
Microsoft’s Battlefield sale offers up to 85 percent off the most recent games in the first-person shooter franchise: Battlefield 1, Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4. A few bundles, like the Battlefield Anniversary Bundle, which includes all three games and associated DLC for $25, are on sale as well. Xbox Live Gold members can also pick up the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free. Battlefield 5, the next entry in the series that’s set during World War II, will launch Nov. 20.
Several Ubisoft-published Xbox games are discounted this week too, notably the Assassin’s Creed series (including last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, which, for some reason, isn’t listed on the Ubisoft sale landing page). The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Odyssey takes place some 300 years before Origins and will launch on Oct. 5. Other popular Ubisoft series like Far Cry and Tom Clancy are also on sale.
