Overwatch will be one of the games included in Humble Monthly, the company announced this afternoon. Though technically part of October’s bundle, new subscribers will be able to download Overwatch right away; the rest of the games will unlock on Oct. 5.
For $12 a month, Humble Monthly subscribers can download a rotating bundle of PC games (usually between 8 and 10 titles). The full roster of games is a secret until the first Friday of each month, when subscribers will gain access to the full bundle. Unlike Xbox Game Pass, the games are yours to keep forever.
Overwatch typically sells for $39.99, though it often goes on sale for $19.99. $12 would be a steal for Blizzard’s mega-hit game alone — not to mention the rest of the games included in the bundle.
Previous bundles have included a blend of indie and AAA games, from Destiny 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider to Superhot and Undertale. Humble guarantees a combined value of $100 or more.
In addition to the rotating bundle, Humble Monthly subscribers gain access to the Humble Trove, a collection of games (including the full catalogue of Humble-produced titles) similar to Xbox Game Pass. 65 games are currently in the lineup, including indie favorites like The Sexy Brutale, Gone Home and Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
Like all Humble purchases, a portion of every sale goes to charity. Each Monthly bundle supports a different organization; October’s is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
