Capcom

Resident Evil 2 was released yesterday on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you haven’t yet started playing Capcom’s remake, which Polygon called “everything a video game remake should be”, here’s even more incentive: Steam key marketplace Fanatical is offering 25 percent off the survival horror game, both Standard and Deluxe Editions, with our exclusive code, ZOMBIE25. The code applies to all games in the Resident Evil franchise — if you haven’t played the excellent Resident Evil 7, you can pick that up as well for less than $20.

In the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, some excellent TVs are going on sale for below Black Friday pricing. Whether or not you’re planning on watching “the Big Game”, now’s a great time to pick up a 4K TV at well below MSRP. Our pick for best 4K TV under $1,000 the TCL 6-series, was on sale briefly, but it’s back up to its Black Friday price (which is still $300 off MSRP). TCL’s less expensive 4-series model, though, is $100 off MSRP at $499.99.

  • In my monthly board game roundup, newly revived after holiday chaos put us on hiatus, I suggested my favorite strategy board games to break out at your next game night. There’s a wide range of intensities — more casual tabletop gamers might want to start with something like Small World, but serious groups can have fun with something more dense like Scythe.
  • Netflix announced this week that its She-Ra reboot, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, is getting a second season (yay!). Appealing to both new and old fans of the powerful princess, ModCloth just released two new shirts featuring Adora in her original 80’s incarnation: a sweatshirt and a graphic tee.
  • Finally, shout out to Petrana Radulovic for finding perhaps the most disturbing product available on the internet right now. It appears to be a snow cone maker in the shape of Frozen’s beloved snowman, Olaf, implying that...you’re eating his innards, I guess?
