The Epic Games Store’s first Holiday Sale is underway right now, and ends on Jan. 1, 2020 at this time. The digital storefront is also offering 12 days of free games, also beginning today, to entice people to check in every day of the sale.

During the 12 Days of Free Games, each game will be available only for 24 hours. But if claimed during that time, it’s yours to keep and play forever. The first title in the promotion is Into the Breach, which made No. 7 on our list of Games of the Year for 2018. Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy game with puzzle elements by Subset Games, the makers of FTL.

Elsewhere, Epic is offering discounts of up to 75% on its inventory. Big names and new releases on sale include Borderlands 3 for $36.99; Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for $49.79; Red Dead Redemption 2 for $47.99; Control for $40.19; The Outer Worlds for $44.99, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for $14.99 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint for $23.99. Many more titles from Ubisoft’s back catalog are also on sale.

Additionally, Epic is offering everyone a $10 discount, and if they use it to buy from a list of eligible games, they’ll get another $10 coupon good toward anything. “Eligible games,” for the first coupon, means anything that is $14.99 or more, excluding pre-orders, season passes, DLC or other in-game purchases (basically, a full title costing $14.99 or more).
