In preparation for Jump Force, Bandai Namco’s upcoming fighting game, GameStop is celebrating all things anime. The sale, appropriately titled “We Love Anime,” includes discounts on previous Bandai Namco games as well as anime collectibles. The retailer also offers $10 in store credit to PowerUp Rewards members who pre-order Jump Force.
Jump Force brings together characters from iconic manga magazine Shonen Jump, many of whom are featured in the discounted games. GameStop has five excellent Bandai Namco titles on sale for $10 off: fighting games Dragon Ball FighterZ and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker are both down to $29.99; My Hero One’s Justice is $49.99; Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is $19.99; and the JRPG Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is on sale for $39.99.
In addition to the discounted games, GameStop is offering 25 percent off anime collectibles. That includes everything from $15 Naruto action figures to a $60 Sailor Moon compact. Plus, Funko Pops are buy-three, get-one-free during the sale.
Finally, PowerUp Rewards members can take advantage of that $10 GameStop store credit with Jump Force pre-orders. Since Amazon ended its 20 percent pre-order discount, store credit is about the best you can get on console pre-orders. (PC pre-orders are 15 percent off at Steam key marketplace Green Man Gaming.) Pre-orders also include some exclusive in-game DLC.
Jump Force will be available Feb. 15. GameStop’s “We Love Anime” sale ends on Feb. 17.
