New Humble bundle collects first issues in must-read comics series

Humble’s latest pay-what-you-want bundle is aimed at comics fans looking for a new favorite series. The “Start Here” bundle collects first issues, volume ones, and a few stand-alone graphic novels in over 30 comics series.

Like most Humble bundles, the Start Here collection is tiered, with additional comics unlocked as you pay more. The first tier (which includes eight volumes) is unlocked by paying just $1, while the whole bundle is yours for $20.

The comics included in each tier are listed below. Some highlights include first volumes of critically acclaimed series like Deadly Class, Locke & Key, and Saga, as well as Alan Moore’s seminal graphic novel about Jack the Ripper, From Hell. My personal favorite is Lumberjanes, an adorable series about a group of badass ladies who fight monsters at their summer camp.

A portion of all Humble purchases benefit a charity; the Start Here bundle will support the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which helps defend comics creators, publishers, and vendors in First Amendment cases.
