Now that the post-holiday lull is behind us and studios are gearing up for new AAA releases (hello, Anthem), gaming sales are kicking up as well. This weekend brought some great Presidents Day sales, but some even better deals were announced after the three day weekend finished.

In a week of especially good gaming deals, the stand out is definitely the all-time-low price on TCL’s high-quality 6-series TV. If you’re considering a new TV, you can’t go wrong with this display, especially for 4K gaming. PC gamers can also save on an ultra-smooth HD monitor with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync. A price drop on Marvel’s Spider-Man and a new Nintendo Switch bundle round out this week’s entries.

As always, if there’s a category you’d like to see next week or a deal I’m missing, let me know in the comments or on Twitter @PolygonDeals.

Best TV deal: TCL R617 4K TV

Our pick for best 4K TV under $1,000 is hands down the TCL 6-Series. The HDR display and low latency input is perfect for 4K gaming and right now it’s on sale for $829.99. That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen on this fantastic TV, $20 cheaper than it was during Super Bowl sales.

Best Buy also sells a version that’s on sale for $799.99 — it’s the same TV, just with a simpler IR remote.

Best monitor deal: Dell FreeSync Gaming Monitor

Unoriginal/confusing naming convention aside, Dell’s D2719HGF monitor delivers on both picture quality (full HD resolution) and smoothness (144 Hz refresh rate and 2 ms response time). It also utilizes AMD FreeSync and, after a firmware update, Nvidia G-Sync, to take advantage of high-end graphics cards. Bonus: The clean design is simple and elegant, instead of looking like something out of a spaceship as do most PC gaming peripherals.

It’s on sale at Newegg’s eBay storefront for $169.99, $80 off MSRP.

Best console deal: Nintendo Switch bundle

Nintendo has yet to give us any kind of official discount on the Nintendo Switch — the closest we can get is with these limited-time bundles like Black Friday’s Mario Kart 8 bundle. This time, Nintendo is throwing in a free $35 eShop gift card with Switch consoles. It’s not much, but when it comes to Nintendo any kind of savings is a big deal. The bundle is available at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target.

Best game deal: Marvel’s Spider-Man

It looks like the sale on Marvel’s Spider-Man we highlighted last week is actually a permanent price drop; one Redditor noticed that the price changed to $39.99 on the PS4 game’s PlayStation Store listing. That’s a $20 price drop on the September 2018 title that was one of Polygon’s best games of 2018. Another first-party Sony game, Detroit: Become Human, appears to have dropped in price as well.

Best PC deal: Razer Blade 17 Laptop

Razer is taking $600 off its Razer Blade Pro gaming laptop for one day only with promo code AFFWKSPK. As far as gaming laptops go, the Razer Blade Pro is one of the most powerful on the market, and, in my opinion, is one of the prettier options out there. The promo code applies to the 17-inch Full HD version. It also includes an exclusive Fortnite skin bundle.

Best comics deal: Humble “Start Here” bundle

Humble’s pay-what-you-want bundle is still available at the retailer’s online store. It collects first issues, volume ones, and a few stand-alone graphic novels in acclaimed comics series. The first tier, which is unlocked by paying just $1, includes the first issues of the Bob’s Burgers comic, Deadly Class, Lumberjanes, and a few others. The full bundle, which is yours for $20 or more, contains classics like From Hell, Bone, and Saga.

The next level of puzzles.
