Cloud storage on Nintendo Switch Nintendo

The Nintendo Switch is an amazing console, but its measly 32 GB of storage space is one of the biggest drawbacks. Thankfully, Switch-compatible microSD cards keep getting cheaperm and today’s Amazon Deal of the Day on storage devices brings SanDisk’s 200 GB and 400 GB models down to their lowest prices ever.

Unless you’re planning on buying every AAA Switch game digitally, you can probably get away with a 200 GB model. A SanDisk 200 GB microSD card is on sale for $29.21 (down from $39.23), and a 400 GB model is down to $62.30 (previously $94). Just to put things in perspective, around this time last year, 400 GB microSD cards were going for around $250.

In addition to the microSD cards, Amazon is discounting storage devices for PlayStation 4 consoles. A Western Digital 2 TB hard drive is on sale for $63.99 (usually $89.99) and a 4 GB model is down to $91.99 (usually $129.99). And WD’s My Passport 1 TB SSD, compatible with PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac, is on sale for $143.99 (usually $249.99).

Several other SSDs are discounted as well, along with some USB drives and SD cards. The full lineup of Amazon’s storage DOTD is available at Amazon’s daily deal page. The deal ends tonight at 3 a.m. ET.
