Plus, an early discount on Anthem

PC owners have a lot to love this week, with huge discounts on hardware and accessories to upgrade your gaming rig. Polygon’s exclusive discount on a Geforce RTX 2080 graphics card brings the high-end GPUs down the lowest price they’ve ever been.

Of course, you’ll need a monitor that can keep up with the powerful graphics. Alienware’s 34-inch curved gaming monitor utilizes Nvidia’s G-Sync technology that was specifically designed to work with GeForce GPUs.

As always, if there’s a deal I’m missing or a category you’d like to see covered, let me know at @PolygonDeals.

Best PC deal: Zotac GeForce RTX 2080

Nvidia’s RTX 20-series GPUs are the top of the line when it comes to fast, vivid 4K gaming. B&H is currently offering Polygon readers $150 off a Zotac model of the RTX 2080, which usually retails for $809. The bundle also includes free PC copies of Anthem, Battlefield 5, and Metro Exodus.

Best monitor deal: Alienware 34-inch curved gaming monitor

We featured Alienware’s massive AW3418HW monitor when it was on sale for $799 — now it’s even lower. The 34-inch curved monitor is now on sale at eBay for $674.99 when you use the promo code JOY4TECH. That code takes 10 percent off any Dell purchase over $150, so you can upgrade your full PC setup if you’re so inclined.

Best accessory deal: Plantronics Rig 800HD

Plantronics headsets are a reliably good choice for gaming and this week its Rig 800HD model is on sale at Best Buy for $99.99 ($30 off MSRP). The PS4 version of these headphones made Polygon’s guide to the best gaming headsets of 2018. The Rig 800HD, with a noise-cancelling mic and Dolby Atmos surround sound, is perfect for PC gaming.

Best video game deal: Anthem on PS4

BioWare’s new online multiplayer game, Anthem, got its first discount at Amazon this week, down to $50.99. The full game was released on Feb. 22, after two demos and an early access window. As we pointed out earlier this week, it’s not a huge discount ($9 off a $60 game) and it’s only on the PlayStation 4 physical edition. But still, any discount on a AAA title so soon after launch is notable.
