This week, we saw some all-time low prices on PC gaming hardware, as well as one of the best games of 2018, Rockstar Games’ supremely weird Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rockstar Games’ follow-up to 2010’s Red Dead Redemption has inspired memes, music, and plenty of in-game shenanigans. It was Polygon’s #6 Game of the Year in 2018 and Rockstar is still pushing updates to the Red Dead Online service. Right now the open-world Western is on sale for $34.99, an all time low price and $24 off MSRP (though it’s been consistently on sale for $40 for a few months now.)
If you’re in the market for a new gaming monitor but you’re on a tight budget, check out Dell’s 24-inch FreeSync monitor. It’s currently half off its $299.99 sticker price but still scores well on essential PC gaming specs like response time and refresh rate. It’s also worth taking a look at Razer’s Abyssus Essential mouse, which is currently on sale for $29.99, a $20 price drop.
Finally, Twitch Prime and Crunchyroll partnered this week to offer a 30-day free pass to the anime subscription service’s premium tier, which offers simulcasting and ad-free viewing.
