Happy long weekend, y’all

This Monday is Memorial Day and, while this holiday is the official kickoff of summer for many in the U.S., you might want to take a few minutes out of your long weekend to check out some of the gaming sales happening around the internet.

Best Buy’s Memorial Day sale includes some great deals on TVs and gaming laptops. The TCL R615, Best Buy’s exclusive version of our favorite 4K TV for gaming, is back down to $699.99. EA Sports games, as well as EA’s Anthem and Battlefield 5, are up to $27 off on PS4 and Xbox One. Plus, Best Buy is offering a (slightly confusing) deal on PS4 controllers. The retailer is taking $30 total off the price of two DualShock 4 gamepads. So if you add two controllers to your cart, a $15 discount will be applied to each of them at checkout.

Microsoft’s Backward Compatibility Sale isn’t technically a Memorial Day Sale, but it’s running this weekend, so it counts. Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are compatible with the Xbox One are up to 75 percent off through Wednesday. One of the highlights is the original Red Dead Redemption, on sale for $9.89.

Finally, GameStop’s Memorial Day sale focuses mainly on pre-owned games and the company’s “Blast from the Past” bundles, but there are some fun collectibles on sale as well. Overwatch and Minecraft merch is 20 percent off, including adorable Nendoroids and plushes.
