The days of Amazon Prime’s video game pre-order discount are long behind us, but lately Amazon has been upping its game when it comes to gaming deals. Earlier this week, the company launched a new promotion for Twitch Prime members, offering a $15 Amazon credit with the purchase of a $15 game: either The Sims 4, Fallout 76, or The Last of Us Remastered. That means you can basically get one of those games for free if you have a Prime subscription.
Amazon has also been running several video game coupons recently, and on Wednesday it dropped one on this year’s Resident Evil 2. The coupon brings it down to $19.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is the lowest price we’ve seen on this very scary and very fun survival horror remake.
If you’re in the market for PC hardware, Dell’s Back to School sale is worth checking out this week. A bunch of gaming PCs and peripherals are discounted, and Dell is throwing in Visa gift cards with a few of the larger purchases. The best deals are probably the Alienware m15 gaming laptop and a 27-inch gaming monitor. (Details on the specs for those models are below.) And if you’re looking for a new gaming keyboard, Razer’s popular BlackWidow TE Chroma mechanical keyboard is on sale for $99, its lowest price yet.
Finally, a box set of the original Ghost in the Shell manga is on sale at Amazon, as is the gold standard for cooperative board games, Pandemic.
As always, you can join us on Twitter throughout the week for more of the best deals in gaming and entertainment.
