For folks in the U.S., July 4th weekend is a time for barbecues and fireworks, but Best Buy is bringing the heat with a big sale on tech and appliances. The most exciting deal from Best Buy’s 4th of July sale is the return of Black Friday’s Spider-Man PS4 bundle. Though this bundle doesn’t include the themed packaging, it does include both a 1TB PS4 and our number nine GOTY, for 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Our number six GOTY, Red Dead Redemption 2, was on sale for $29.99 in a Best Buy flash sale, though that’s since ended. But now you can pick it up at Walmart for that price, half off MSRP.

GameStop’s Game Days summer sale also kicks off this weekend with deals on games and hardware and special trade-in offers. Highlights include a Switch Starlink bundle, discount on PowerA’s wireless GameCube-style Switch controller, and (number 10 GOTY) Assassin’s Creed Odyssey back down to $19.99.

Finally, PC gamers can check out two deals at GOG. First, a fourth of July sale discounts American-made games like Myst and The Witness by up to 90 percent. And for our friends to the North there’s a Canada Day sale with Canadian-made games like Cuphead and Darkest Dungeon.
