The new d-pad on the Nintendo Switch Lite NIntendo

Nintendo Switch consoles are notoriously low on storage space, so Switch owners are always on the lookout for a good microSD card deal. (Plus, the Switch Lite coming out next month will have the same 32 GB internal memory.) Luckily, microSD cards keep getting cheaper. Today’s deal brings a 512 GB Sandisk microSD card down to $79.99 and a 256 GB model down to $29.99. For context, when I bought the same 256 GB model last year, I paid around $80.

Amazon is also discounting some excellent PC gaming hardware on Thursday in a Back to School Gold Box deal of the day. In addition to cheap, lightweight laptops perfect for lugging to class, there are some excellent deals on storage and a few good discounts on PC gaming accessories.

The PC accessories included in this deal are top notch as well. We love the SteelSeries Arctis 3 headset — the wired version is $21 off at $48.99. Destiny fans can save $40 off Razer’s DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse branded with the Destiny logo. (You can pay $3 more if you want the mouse without the Destiny.)

Some inexpensive monitors are also on sale. If you’re in the market for a gaming display we’d recommend one of the models with AMD FreeSync: either the Samsung CR50 (on sale for $159) or the Acer Nitro VG27 (on sale for $209.99.)

For the full list of products discounted in Amazon’s deal of the day, check out the Gold Box landing page. The sale ends at 3 a.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 30.
