Since axing its pre-order discounts for Prime members last summer, Amazon has been mixing up its video game deals. Its latest promotion — available to everyone, not just Prime members — takes $10 off a $100 video game purchase. As with most Amazon offers, though, there are some restrictions.
This new Amazon deal applies to a relatively small selection of physical video games and gaming accessories. There are some real gems in the batch, including the brand new Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remaster and PowerA’s wireless GameCube controller, as well as some truly baffling choices like a keychain of the logo for BioShock Infinite’s Fink Manufacturing.
The full list of eligible games and accessories is available at an Amazon landing page, but double check that the yellow “Extra Savings” label shows up on the product page when adding something to your cart.
Unfortunately, the promotion doesn’t apply to any video game consoles — though if you’re looking to pick up a Switch Lite, our friends at The Verge pointed out Rakuten is taking $30 off the new console today with its sitewide coupon code SAVE15. Still, this Amazon deal is a great excuse to pick up a few games on your wishlist or replace some of your outdated accessories.
Amazon hasn’t indicated how long the promotion will be available, only that it’s a “limited-time offer” and “good while supplies last.”
