Amazon’s latest promotion is a buy-two-get-one-free sale, with over 300 books, movies, and games eligible for the deal. The included titles range from classic novels and Oscar-nominated movies on Blu-ray to beloved video game remakes Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
Like with most sales of this kind, there’s a lot of junk to sort through to find the gems. However, there’s plenty of great stuff eligible for this promotion. DVD and Blu-ray copies of 2019 Best Picture Academy Award nominees Once Upon A Time in...Hollywood, Judy, and Joker are available, as well as less prestigious (but more fun) titles like Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame, Midsommar, Hobbs & Shaw, John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum, and Crawl.
As for video games, many of the titles are family-friendly remakes. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz are both eligible for the promotion. There are also some of last year’s bestselling games on offer, like Death Stranding, Madden NFL 20, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.
When it comes to books, there’s an especially wide range of titles available. Alongside YA novels, cookbooks, and crafting kits, are three Dungeons & Dragons sourcebooks. The Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monster Manual are included, as well as the new Eberron: Rising from the Last World adventure. I also experienced a major nostalgia trip seeing beloved books from my childhood like The Care and Keeping of You, Junie B. Jones, and Magic Tree House.
The wording on the promotion is confusing. Amazon has it listed as “buy three get one free,” but it’s really a buy-two-get-one-free sale. Essentially, if you add three items from the list to your Amazon cart, you’ll only pay for two of them. You’ll receive the discount on the lowest priced item.
Amazon hasn’t stated how long this promotion will last, only that it’s a “limited-time offer.”
