If you’re looking to enhance your TV with a new streaming device, Amazon’s new Fire TV sale may be able to help you out. The online retailer has discounted its second generation Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV Recast for a short time.
The basic Fire TV Stick comes with Alexa built into the remote, and allows you to turn any TV into a Smart, streaming TV. You can watch thousands of channels and use apps like Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV, and Prime Video to scream content into your home. The Fire TV Stick is currently on sale for $24.99, $15 off of its usual price of $39.99.
The Fire TV Stick 4K offers the same benefits as the Fire TV Stick, but with 4K resolution streaming. You can pick up the Fire TV 4K for $34.99, $15 off its usual price of $49.99.
Last year’s Fire TV Cube is also on sale. The Cube offers 4K streaming, but with the added bonus of a full Alexa inside. While hooked up to your TV, the Fire TV Cube can use Alexa to control your soundbar or receiver, turn off your lights, or start your favorite TV show. And if you have everything hooked up right, it can do it all at once. The Fire TV Cube is on sale for $99.99, $20 off its usual price of $119.99.
Amazon’s biggest sale is for the Fire TV Recast, Amazon’s DVR box. The Fire TV Recast can record over-the-air TV and stream it to your mobile device or your TV. If you already have an Alexa, you can search for the entertainment you’re looking for with your voice. If you want to watch HD channels — including sports, local news, and late night — you need to buy the $19.99 optional AmazonBasics Indoor Flat TV Antenna. The Fire TV Recast itself is on sale for $144.99, $85 off its usual price of $229.99.
Amazon hasn’t indicated when the Amazon Fire TV sale will end, only that it’s a limited time deal.
