All three core rulebooks for 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons are on sale Monday at Amazon. The gift set includes the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and the Monster Manual. There’s a handy slip case and a nice, generic Dungeon Master’s screen — all for $91.99, a discount of 46%.

The Dungeons & Dragons Core Rulebooks Gift Set is normally $169.95. According to the description, these are special foil covered versions of the books from 2018. That means they include most if not all of the errata for the core game. Pair it with the Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Kit — the game’s very best introductory boxed set — and you’re on your way to hosting your first game of D&D.

If you’re up for a real challenge, why not go for Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, the latest campaign from Wizards of the Coast. This challenging new adventure begins at the first level, and takes players all the way to level 11.
