A new sale on DRM-free PC games, dubbed the Harvest Sale, is underway at GOG. In addition to over 1,500 discounted titles, the CD Projekt-owned distribution service is offering a free download of Serious Sam: The First Encounter for 48 hours only.

The debut entry in Croteam’s first-person shooter series, Serious Sam: The First Encounter was first released in 2001 on Windows PC. GOG is giving it away for free until 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday. Just click the icon on the sale page and the DRM-free title will be added to your GOG library.

The Harvest Sale also includes discounts on a huge selection of games, from “indie gems” like Frostpunk and Moonlighter to “good old games” like Myst Masterpiece Edition and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. GOG is offering discounts of up to 91% on hundreds of titles, so it’s worth browsing the sale to see if anything catches your eye.

The Harvest Sale title is presumably a tie-in to the upcoming dieselpunk real-time strategy game Iron Harvest, due out on Sept. 1. Until Sept. 8, GOG is throwing in another real-time strategy game, Sudden Strike 4, for free when you buy or pre-order Iron Harvest.

GOG’s Harvest Sale runs through Aug. 31.
