If you haven’t had the chance to play Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, Amazon, Target, and Best Buy have discounted the PlayStation 5 version to just $39.99 (was $59.99), the lowest price yet for the stompy mecha shooter. Armored Core 6 has cemented itself as a favorite in the Polygon offices, thanks to its hectic firefights and an array of possibilities for building your own Core.

Make no mistake, AC6 will test your skill, and reply with a prompt backhand if you fail to afford it the correct level of respect. However, if you find yourself struggling, always remember the “ADTCTP” (Always Do The Coolest Thing Possible) approach.

Armored Core 6 already boasts an impressive amount of single and multiplayer content alongside a vast catalog of Core parts, but the 1.05 patch coming on Dec. 19 will add even more parts, ranked online matchmaking, leaderboards, and new PvP maps. Meaning, there’s been no better time to book your visit to Rubicon 621.
