Meet the Cosplayer and the Wandering MC

Death Stranding has plenty of celebrity cameos and real-world products, including one announced in the weeks before the game’s release — Conan O’Brien. This guide will tell you where to find him and what you’ll get for visiting the prepper shelter where he lives.

Cosplayer

Conan is the partner of an NPC called the Cosplayer. The Cosplayer’s prepper shelter is located in the Central Region. You’ll need to play until Episode 3 of the main story to reach this area.

The Cosplayer’s entrance is at the end of a long, narrow canyon about halfway between South Knot City and the Weather Station. The easiest way down to the entrance is to the north where the canyon is shallow. Follow the canyon floor south to find the entrance.

Meeting Conan and your rewards

Once you make a delivery to the Cosplayer and get the facility on the chiral network (we picked up a standard order from the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City for her), you’ll meet her partner, the Wandering MC.

After he shares his otter facts with you, you’ll receive an otter hood that lets you maneuver better in deep water.

When you increase the Cosplayer’s connection level to 4 stars, you’ll receive the Wandering MC hologram data to add him to structures you’ve upgraded.
