Deathloop’s first Arsenal Lead is “Ubiquity.” We’ll need to head to The Complex in the afternoon and look for Dr. Wenjie Evans. Our goal is to find a way to keep our gear from loop to loop.
Our Deathloop “Ubiquity” guide will walk you through this Arsenal Lead. We’ll give you advice on your Loadout, and then walk you through the find Wenjie’s research, kill Wenjie, harvest the Residuum, plug in the Harvester, activate the experiment, and Some Side Effects steps of this Lead.

Since this is likely your first trip into the time loop, you’re not going to have a lot of (or any) options for your loadout. You might still have some weapons from the introduction (it’s also fine if you don’t). Just make sure your Spring Heeled double-jump Trinket is equipped.
Find Wenjie’s research
Maybe AEON’s head scientist knows how to hold onto stuff from one loop to the next. Better rummage through her whiteboards and test tubes.
Your Arsenal Lead for this outing is “Find Wenjie’s research.” We’re looking for the Visionary Wenjie and her research in The Complex to find a way to bring gear with us between loops.
Explore The Complex, Afternoon
Our Deathloop guides aren’t the only path through this district. You can take whatever path you want with as much stealth or combat as you see fit. Our guide focuses on the path(s) that lead to every clue and Lead, letting you pick up any useful weapons along the way, and generally avoiding combat.
In the tunnels, head straight (there’s a branch to the left, but we don’t need to go that way right now). When you exit the tunnels, head for the shipping container shelter directly ahead of you. Inside, grab the The Sixty-Second Minute: Wenjie Evans and Real Estate documents on your left.
We’re going to continue following the main path toward the nearby overpass, but off to the right. There are several structures and places to hide as you go that will avoid some Eternalists and allow you to silently take out others.
When you reach the overpass, use the snowcats to hide from the turret and Eternalists. Commandeer the turret to distract the Eternalists and pass under the overpass.
Head into the shelter to the right. There are three Eternalists down the hill from you and one that will come up to the shelter. They’re all facing down the hill, so it’s easy enough to avoid them. Take out the one that comes to the shelter and then deal with the other three. There’s a ballistic turret off to your left — make sure to scramble the sensor before approaching — if you want to let it handle them for you.
Laboratory Annex (Wenjie’s Laboratory)
Stick to the right as you head down the hill toward the blue building. Follow the bridge on the right. Crouch when you reach the door and carefully look through the window to hack the sensor on the wall to your right.
Hop over to the walkway on the left. Duck under the windows and continue across to the door on the end. Commandeer the turret you can see through the window. Wenjie is in the room and will get taken out.
But, it turns out, there are multiple Wenjies here. Your turret will take out several in a row. Once the shooting stops, head inside.
Kill every Wenjie
Go down the stairs. Read the Attention All Wenjies document on the whiteboard at the bottom. The code it contains changes every loop. We can’t open the doors down here, so head back up the stairs.
Watch for another turret — destroy or commandeer it, your call — as you head up to the second floor. Just past that turret, grab the Anchoring the Loop cassette transcript. Go through the door in the corner.
In the next room — you’ll probably see a “death trap” floating message — ignore the other Wenjies for now, and turn left. There’s a hallway there labeled Manufacturing. Take it.
When you reach the next door, peek through to scramble the sensor. There’s also a turret here — commandeer and deploy it. There are three Wenjies in this room. The turret should take out at least one or two. Sneak in and dispatch anyone left. Check around the room for the Gifts from the Anomaly document.
Back in the death trap room, tag and dispatch the two Wenjies on this level. Head to the left and start up the stairs. Watch for the sensors as you go. At the top of the stairs, there are two more Wenjies inside. Dispatch them.
There’s another pair talking outside. There are two doors out, so if you make some noise on one side to draw their attention, you’ll be able to circle around behind them both.
Take the stairs all the way to the bottom. There will be one more Wenjie there, so sneak and dispatch her. Read the Unknown Unknowns and To Reap What You Sow documents on the whiteboard. There’s also a Wenjies Are We cassette to the right. Pick up the Portable Harvester to the right of the whiteboard.
Hit the Munitions and Health Stations, and then head through the door toward the remaining Wenjies — this will lead you into the red building.
Harvest the Residuum
Tag the two last Wenjies and watch them. There’s a turret in the left corner and a sensor on the left wall. Dispatch the last two Wenjies and then pick up the Portable Harvester. It will suck up Wenjie’s Residuum and you’ll get a new Lead.
Before you leave, head the the far left corner for the Sterilization Protocols cassette. The depressurization controls are to the right. This doesn’t do us any good during a stealthy run, but if you ever want to get loud, this is where you turn off the depressurization. Look around for the Wenjie as Herself, Part 1 cassette before you leave.
Plug in the Harvester
Your next goal is to use the Portable Harvester we just filled up. Make sure it’s full of Wenjie’s Residuum, and then follow the marker back into the lab.
The Infuser — marked with the Residuum Intake Socket marker — is right next to where you picked up the Harvester. Plug it in.
Activate the experiment
Go stand in the lit up cylinder to your left. Shoot the button.
Some Side Effects
Death’s a small price to pay to hold onto your gear.
So, you died.
Whatever gun you shot the button with will be on the beach next to you. Pick it up and head up the bunker. Watch for any glowing objects as you go — these contain Residuum that you can absorb. You’ll want to absorb as much as you can, whenever you can.
Pick up everything in the bunker, and continue toward the exit. Harvest any Residuum you pass. Make sure to grab your Grenade, Machete, and Reprise Slab on your way out.
In your Loadout screen, you’ll have a new Infuse Gear option. This is how you’ll keep weapons and Slabs from loop to loop.
This time, you won’t have any choice in what you Infuse and keep. Just follow the tutorial. We’ll get to make our own choices soon.
Before you leave the Loadout screen, make sure you (re)equip the Spring Heeled Trinket.
In our next guide, we’ll head to Karl’s Bay to take out Harriet Morse.
