Our Deathloop “Devouring of the Lambs” walkthrough will help you crash Aleksis’s party, search for clues, enact the plan, kill Aleksis, and snatch Aleksis’ Karnesis Slab steps of this Visionary Lead.
Table of contents
Devouring of the Lambs Loadout
We recommend the Shift Slab and Nexus Slab for “Devouring of the Lambs.” Shift is necessary to navigate some of the areas, and you’ll get a lot of use out of Nexus at Aleksis’s party.
As for weapons, something silent is always nice to have, and fill your other two slots with your favorites.
Devouring of the Lambs walkthrough
Aleksis Dorsey is a rare target: easy to locate, but not so easy to find.
Our Deathloop “Devouring of the Lambs” walkthrough isn’t the only path through this district. You can take whatever path you want with as much stealth or combat as you see fit. Our guide focuses on the path(s) that lead to every clue and Lead, letting you pick up any useful weapons along the way, and generally avoiding combat.
For this Lead, we’re heading to Updaam in the evening to attend Aleksis’s party.
Crash Aleksis’s Party
Aleksis is throwing a lupine masquerade with tight security. So which wolf’s the wealthy host?
We’re heading to Updaam in the evening. We’ve actually been to the party before as part of “What Wenjies Want.” Once again, we’re heading to the rooftops and into Aleksis’s room — The Master’s Chambers.
This time, though, we’re going to take a slightly different path into Dorsey Manor.
Search for Clues
Fan-fucking-tastic, everyone’s in a mask. So which wolf is the big bad? I need clues to identify Aleksis.

Start the same way — take the left path out of the tunnels, deal with the Eternalists, and cut through the Candy Bar. Continue along until you reach where we cut through the tunnel before — below the wall of TVs that read “the night time is the right time.”
Duck into the small tunnel (window?) there, and take a left. Pass through the next window and follow the ledge right. Climb over the wall on your right, and take the stairs up. Follow them all the way to a door.

Quietly step inside, and use Shift to hop across the light fixtures. There’s an open window over to the left. Shift through that window.
Cut right as soon as you land — there’s an Eternalist in the hall who might spot you. To the right and around the corner is the sound booth that will be important in a minute.
Turn around from the Music Sampler to find a door. Deal with the pair of Eternalists outside, and step through. Look above the door you just came through for an open window. Jump and Shift through.

You’ll land in Aleksis’s bathroom — where he writes a new song every morning (which means the code you’ll find is different every loop). You’ll see some “the Alpha’s throne” graffiti above the toilet. Read the Perfection document and listen to the Egor Unfiltered, Part 2 cassette.
Before you leave, look in the corner of the room next to the toilet. There’s a Music Sampler here set to Aleksis’s “perfect” mix. Remember those numbers.
Enact the Plan
I’ve found something that could trick Aleksis into revealing himself.
Now it’s time to play DJ. If Aleksis spots you at any point from here on, you’ll get a “Loop and Return” step for this lead — which just means you have to do this stealthily.
Drop back down to the sound booth and enter those numbers into the Music Sampler. Look over the railing and watch the dance floor below you.
Kill Alexsis and Snatch Aleksis’ Karnesis Slab
I think I’ve singled out Aleksis. Only one way to know for sure: with bloodshed.
and
Aleksis loves his Karnesis Slab. I’ve gotta dominate him for it … to death. Or I could get lucky with Julianna. Ew.

Aleksis will announce, “All lights on me!” and start dancing alone in the middle of the room. Take him out.
Party Animal
I’ve learned a way to unmask Aleksis. There could be others to try.
That completes “Devouring of the Lambs.” Since we’ve already set up the invitation for Wenjie in “What Wenjies Want,” she’ll be dancing up on the roof — feel free to go take her out too. If you’ve sabotaged Frank’s fireworks this loop — like we learned in “The Ballad of Ramblin’ Frank” — you’ll get a notification that he died as well. We’re making progress.
Let’s check out that last Visionary Lead next.
