In Death’s Door, you start out with a standard sword, but there are four other weapons you can find and use. Our Death’s Door weapons guide will show you where to find the Thunder Hammer, Rogue Daggers, Reaper’s Greatsword, and Discarded Umbrella.

There is one weapon in each of the game’s four areas. The Thunder Hammer is in the Frog King’s Domain, the Rogue Daggers are in the Estate of the Urn Witch, the Reaper’s Greatsword is near The Stranded Sailor, and the Discarded Umbrella is in the Hall of Doors.

The Discard Umbrella is in the northwest Hall of Doors. It’ll be leaning on a lamppost, past where the doors to the Urn Witch’s area appear.

The umbrella is significantly weaker than any other weapon, so there isn’t much incentive to use it, outside of an achievement, Academy of Umbrellas, that you get for beating the game using only the umbrella.

The Rogue Daggers are right outside and just to the east of the entrance to the Urn Witch’s Ceramic Manor. When you first see them, they’ll be locked behind a gate. To get them, go southeast, past the herd of enemies by the firepit.

Once you arrive on the southeast path, keep following it, defeating enemies along the way. When you get to the loop of unlit fire pits with a gate to the north. A nearby lever will open up the gate.

Keep following the path to the north, taking out enemies you find along the way.

At the end of the path, the Rogue Daggers will be waiting for you. These weapons do less damage per hit than the sword, but they allow you to attack much faster.

The Thunder Hammer in the Mushroom Dungeon

The Thunder Hammer is visible on top of a ledge in a room with a bunch of small bud-like enemies. To get it, go around and out of the Mushroom Dungeon. From the room with the Hall of Doors door in the Mushroom Dungeon, head west. Follow the path until you get to a large room.

Instead of going through the stone entryway, continue going northwest until you can climb up a tall ladder against the wall. Exit the storage room and continue to follow the path in the Overgrown Ruins, going up the ladder and past some stone arches.

At the end of the path, there’ll be another entrance to the Mushroom Dungeon. Go inside and drop in the hole to claim your Thunder Hammer.

The hammer swings slowly, but also fires off a chain of electricity at the enemies you strike.

The Reaper’s Greatsword at The Stranded Sailor

The Reaper’s Greatsword is behind The Stranded Sailor, locked up behind a gate. To open it, you’ll have to find four switches to activate the gate. They’re all hidden around The Stranded Soldier, and each one you find will give you a hint on where to find the next one. You don’t have to find them in order, though.

You’ll need to use your bomb ability to blow up the walls around the hints given. The four spots are shown below, and they’re all north of The Stranded Sailor.

The spot under the gargoyle statue is behind an ice patch to the north. The camera will rotate after you destroy the ice and walk behind the wall.

After you hit the four switches, head back to the gate and grab the Reaper’s Greatsword.

It attacks slower than the default sword, but it does much more damage.
