If you ordered the Destiny 2: Beyond Light Digital Deluxe Edition bundle, you’ll get the No Time To Explain Exotic pulse rifle and a quest for its Catalyst, Soon. But when you first start up Beyond Light, it’s not clear when you’ll get these items or how to unlock them.

Here’s how to get the No Time To Explain Exotic pulse rifle and its Catalyst.

No Time To Explain

Getting No Time To Explain is very easy. All you need to do is complete the Beyond Light campaign and the Exo Stranger will hand it over.

But she’ll also give you Soon, the quest for the Exotic Catalyst, which is far less straightforward.

No Time To Explain’s Rewind Again perk causes it to summon a turret and refund ammo to the magazine on precision hits.

Soon, No Time To Explain Catalyst quest

Soon is a multi-step quest. When you finish it, you’ll unlock the Catalyst. Then you’ll need to get between 700-1,000 No Time To Explain kills to apply it.

Schematic code fragments

The first step in Soon is collecting Schematic code fragments. You only need to collect five, but there isn’t an icon on your map. Go to the BrayTech Exoscience area off of Cadmus Ridge to find the area you’re looking for. Fight through the facility until you have all five Schematics.

Return to the Exo Stranger

Once you have all the Schematics, talk to the Exo Stranger outside of her camp.

Defeat Vex

After you talk to the Exo Stranger, you’ll need to kill Vex on Europa using the No Time To Explain pulse rifle. You have a few options here. You can either run The Glassway Strike or adventure into The Nexus area on Europa.

To reach The Nexus, go to the Asterion Abyss and hug the right. You’ll find a cave that leads you down into the first area you ever tested Stasis in the campaign. You can go right or left here and the Vex will still count.

Return to the Exo Stranger again

Once you’ve killed 60 Vex with the pulse rifle, head back to the Exo Stranger’s camp. She’ll give you the Catalyst.

The No Time To Explain Catalyst causes the Rewind Again turret to fire more often.
