Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen guide: Seasonal Challenges for Week 6, March 16

Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen’s Week 6 Seasonal Challenges arrived on March 16, and in this guide we’ll show you how to complete them all.

Some Season 13 weekly Challenges are more involved than the others. Check out the descriptions below for advice on the fastest way to complete these Seasonal Challenges — particularly Conquest of the Mighty, Cabal Contenders, and Kill them with Style — before they expire on May 11.

Contender’s Ascent 6

Challenge: Report to the War Table in the HELM and complete the “Challenger’s Proving VI” quest. Kill 50 Cabal with a bow.

Like every week this season, head to the HELM to grab your new quest and complete the objective. You’ll need to do this one for the War Table XP. This week you’ll get some Large War Table Reputation, which should upgrade you further. Use a bow while you’re doing this mission to kill two birds with one stone.

Small-Caliber Contender

Challenge: Defeat combatants using a submachine gun.

All you need to do for this one is kill enemies with a submachine gun. Slap one on while you’re completing the other challenges.

Nightfall Variety Attack

Challenge: Defeat combatants using sniper rifles, submachine guns, rocket launchers, or bows in Nightfall: The Ordeal.

Like Small-Caliber Contender, you’ll need to use specific weapons for this challenge. But for Nightfall Variety Attack, you can only do it in Nightfall: The Ordeals. The next time you farm a Nightfall, consider putting on one of these weapons.

Cabal Contenders

Challenge: Defeat Elite or Boss Cabal anywhere in the Battlegrounds missions. 65 total kills.

For this one you just need to run Battlegrounds in the Vanguard playlist to fight powerful Cabal. We got about half the kills we needed in a single run. Just focus on enemies with orange or yellow health bars.

Once Chosen, Now Fallen

Challenge: Calibrate weapons against Fallen. Earn bonus progress for precision final blows.

All you need to do here is kill Fallen enemies with headshots. You can find Fallen on almost any planet, so grab a Lost Sector in the EDZ or the Cosmodrome and farm your Fallen headshots.

Kill them with Style

Challenge: Acquire the Pyretic ornament for the Salvager’s Salvo Grenade Launcher.

Once you earn Salvager’s Salvo (which you get from Banshee-44, the gunsmith), you’ll need to complete a quest for Shaxx to get the Pyretic ornament. You’ll need to get 30 grenade launcher Guardian kills in the Crucible and upgrade your Valor six times.

Conquest of the Mighty

Challenge: Complete any Nightfall: The Ordeal strike on Grandmaster.

This is going to be one of the tougher Challenges. You’ll need to get a squad of pals to get to power level 1325 so you can even run the Grandmaster, and then you’ll need to complete it. This is the hardest difficulty for Strikes, and one of the hardest activities in Destiny. Take your time and work through it slowly and you’ll eventually complete this Challenge.

Make sure to finish all of these and the rest of the Seasonal Challenges if you want to complete the Master of All Challenge by May 11, which rewards a Large Bright Dust Pile.
