Destiny 2 guide: Best Titan Exotic armor

Healing and reloading automatically and running fast

Ryan Gilliam (he/him) has worked at Polygon for nearly seven years. He primarily spends his time writing guides for massively popular games like Diablo 4 & Destiny 2.

Exotic armor pieces in Destiny 2 can completely change the way you play your class. Titan’s Exotics aren’t great or terrible. Their Exotics aren’t as bad as Warlocks, but Hunters have far more options. Here are the three best Titan exotics.

Actium War Rig

Bungie/Activision

Actium War Rig slowly reloads a portion of your equipped auto rifle’s magazine.

If you don’t like or use auto rifles, this is not the chest piece for you. However, if you are an auto rifle user (and you should be, considering how powerful they are) this chest piece will improve your damage per second.

In PvE (player versus environment), you can use this on boss fight like Calus to get more skulls or shoot him more without having to reload. In PvE, you can shoot for even longer, making duels easier if you aren’t the best shot.

Crest of Alpha Lupi

Bungie/Activision

Crest of Alphi Lupi causes your barrier to heal you and also makes your Super generate an additional Orb of Light.

This is a great Exotic if you want survivability. While it’s decent in PvE (that extra Orb is very helpful), this chest shines in PvP (player versus player). You will frequently find yourself in duels where you are able to run behind cover, pop a barricade and finish out the duel with your newfound health.

For game types like Survival and Control in Crucible, this is one of the best Exotics you can have.

Dunemarchers

Bungie/Activision

Dunemarchers increase running speed. After running for a while, your next melee attack will chain to additional enemies.

Like many of the other speedy Exotics, the additional effect pales in comparison to the mobility. Being able to run fast to objectives in PvE and PvP can help your team. For Trials of the Nine and general Crucible, these should be your go-to Exotics. For PvE, run these in the Gauntlet or during Nightfalls.
