If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he can now appear all over the map. This week, he’s near the Watcher’s Grave fast travel point on Nessus, and there’s a helpful icon on the planet map to show you where he is.
Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Fighting Lion, grenade launcher: 29 Legendary Shards
- Knucklehead Radar, Hunter helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Peacekeepers, Titan boots: 23 Legendary Shards
- Wings of Sacred Dawn, Warlock chest armor: 23 Legendary Shards
Each of the items comes at a maximum power level of 270 — a base power of 265, plus a Legendary (purple) mod that raises the value by five. This scales to your player’s power level, so make sure you’re buying Xur exotics on your highest level character.
Fighting Lion is Destiny 2’s worst gun. The only reason to buy this is to fill out your exotic collection. Knucklehead Radar for Hunters is a returning exotic from Destiny and is a mid-tier exotic. Its perk provides radar when aiming down sights, which is most beneficial in Crucible. Peacekeepers are underwhelming for Titans. If you absolutely love running submachine guns, these could keep you from ever needing to reload, but I can’t see using these over most other Titan exotics. The Wings of Sacred Dawn chest piece is a repeat from week one for Warlocks, and can be a fun niche item if you enjoy the Dawnblade subclass, but it isn’t a must buy.
