If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he can now appear all over the map. This week, he’s north of the Winding Cove fast travel point in the EDZ, and there’s a helpful icon on the planet map to show you where he is.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Graviton Lance, pulse rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
- Young Ahamkara's Spine, Hunter gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
- Mask of the Quiet One, Titan helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Nezarec's Sin, Warlock helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
Each of the items comes at a maximum power level of 270 — a base power of 265, plus a Legendary (purple) mod that raises the value by five. This scales to your character’s power level, so make sure you’re buying Xur exotics on your highest level character.
You may already have the void-infused Graviton Lance, if you chose it after completing the “Sacrilege” Red War Campaign mission. It can fire long distances and make its targets explode. Its Black Hole perk gives higher damage to the third shot in the burst, and it also has incredibly high stability.
Young Ahamkara's Spine’s Wish-Dragon Teeth perk increases tripmine grenade duration and marks enemies damaged by their blast. It also reduces energy weapon recoil.
With Mask of the Quiet One’s Dreaded Visage perk, getting damaged gives you melee, grenade and class ability energy, and void ability kills grant health regeneration. It also has increased resilience, so you can take more damage. To balance out its resilience, though, it has incredibly low recovery.
Nezarec's Sin’s Abyssal Extractors perk helps your void damage kills, increasing your ability energy recharge rate. It also improves energy weapon handling.
